How to Copy Xbox Games

where do i start to rip the disk i put the game in and it loads but when i go to hit rip it justgets stuck on connecting to xbox ip and then it said connect faild y i this can someone help

Are u trying to FTP the game over to your HD or trying to burn the game onto a disk

Yes then you are trying to FTP the game over u must have an iso or the file in which u wish to ftp

make sure your settings are configured for
DHCP and not STATIC when u FTP
is that configured?

When u insert the game the game will not boot unless u hit launch dvd which u dont want to do just leave the game inside your xbox then make sure your router/hub is connected like in azzid picture then it will show the ip on your xbox type in the ip you see then username=xbox password-xbox then hit connect if it does not connect make sure that your firewall or ant-virus isn't blocking the connection between your xbox and computer

I keep having problems with Craxtion. It took me about a week before it would allow me to add a connection to my Xbox. Then today, after I ripped Halo 2 to my HD, I couldn't create and .iso. When am I supposed to delete the .xbe files? The first time I did it before I tried to create the .iso and it said something about the file missing .xbe files. I decided to say "Phuck Craxtion" and I tried to use Magic Iso. That failed miserably, since the DVD has nothing on it and it's useless. I re-ripped Halo 2 and kept the .xbe files, and tried again to create and .iso and I got this lovely message:

For some reason, and .iso get created anyways and it has(to me) all the necessary parts of the CD. It has the .xbe files also, which Azzid said won't fit on the DVD. The problem is, Magic Iso says that it only fits 9% of the room on the CD. What's going on?

Erm...that was very jumbled. You might want to try Qwix instead.

Sorry it was so haggard. What I wanted to know was:
A) When do you delete the .xbe files? Before or after the .iso is created?
B) Any clue why my OS can't create the .iso? I'm using Win XP.

Assuming you are talking about the xbe's that I say are safe to delete, then BEFORE you create the ISO.

And I have no clue why you would get that error. See if you can download an older version of Craxtion...or try qwix to make the ISO.
