hold left trigger + right trigger + black button+ start.

its asking the time because at some point it was unpluged from the electricity for some hrs.

I can't install.

I previously attempted to softmod with a copy of Mech Assault (Platinum Hits), obviously that failed.

I have since cleaned out all game saves etc.

I am now trying with Splinter Cell (not Pandora or Chaos) and when I click 'Linux' in the profile - the ring goes orange and the screen goes black, then after a pause white and then it restarts Splinter Cell still with the orange ring.

How do I get out of this one?

Any help greatly appreciated

Just to add, I previously softmodded a xbox with the same AR, so I reckon it will be OK.

Am scared to hotswap as tried that on old xbox after screwing up the dash and that destroyed its hard drive and mucked up my PC hard drive too.

Hey, i was on step 13 or 14 and i turned off my xbox then turned it back on to finish the final step to softmod my box. but the screen stays black and if i put in a game nothing will happen everything just stays black. what should i do?

I think the only thing you can do now is hotswap.

you probably did the issue with the ntsc pal switch. theirs a disc called enigma video switcher or something along thsoe lines, basicly you just press a or b and if you get video you now switched back to ntsc.

Quick question, can you delete the soft mod installer from your hard drive once the softmod is installed?
