Azzid, great tut. I was wondering, what is the next step AFTER I successfully softmodded my XBOX. I am mainly doing this for Halo2(Custom). Where could I get the right files to mod on Halo2?

The Halo 2 modding section (look for my tutorial or Ca$h's...they are very similar but I believe I show how to resign it).

ok i love the tut but i have a problem anyone please answer this
i sucsesfully install the softmod blah blah blah but wen im at the new dash blah blah and i put in halo 2 u kno i select my profile then select my live account put in my password and it goes right back to the begining and nothing happens......wtf....... so i try again...... same thing it just goes right back to the starting, press start crap

also when i hardboot my xbox and i can get to the trouble shooter it says that xbox live update fails

someone please answer this ill be waiting thanks a lot

i get an error 21 message after i load the linux installer from the mech assault game save. any help?

ok once again i have ran into another probelm i DID back up the EEprom or whatever its called but when i go to install soft modd and do all that A-B-C stuff (still not sure) it gives me a message saying (BATCH PROCESS:FAILED)
(The Last item was:E\BACKUP\MS NOT FOUND.
ACTION RENAME.

WHAT DO I DO!!! please help me

Umm...use mirror 1 and thats it. I think I changed the download (top one) but I'm not sure. There is 4.5 out right now...and the menu's are a lil different.

error 21!!!!!! i need help!!!! any help any one?....pleasssssse! i really want to soft mod so i can install some apps and emu's on my box but i cannot get past the error 21 message...i tried using the mech assault way of azzid's tut with his file and all i get is error 21!!!! pleeeeease help me anyone!!!

wich game is best to install with because a couple of people on here are saying there getting error 21 with mechassault would it be better to use splintercell?

I use splinter cell and I think it works great

Mechassault werks fine for me.

And pooinyermouth, NTSC/PAL depends on where you live. If you're in the US, then you should use NTSC. I'd also recommend dual boot.

yeah thats what ive used mecasault but i ended up getting error 21 now ive got a new xbox so its all good but i dont understand the "unrar" and "zipped folder" things so if some one could tell me what to do tha'd be great.

Ok...you download the package...you unrar that...then you have a folder with a bunch of .zip files...you leave those alone and just drag them to your memory card...
