IDK...where is it? Your the one that saved it to the file location...so where ever you saved it to. If you dont understand taht simple concept, I woudl suggest that you dod not try this.

I can't connect to live!
When i tried to connect to live from mechassualt it says that there is no connection avaiable and to check my cable WELL I did that and it still hasn't been fixed and Yes I did change my IP to DHCP

Did you cold boot it or put the game in and load it?

Cold Boot: Turning on xbox to skip the Modded Dash (turn on from off, not putting a game in, and if you need to put a game in, than put it in, turn it off, and turn it back on...)

When i try and transfer the Sid 4 file to the Ar pc database i get an error that says not a vaild game save

So wait after I softmod my xbox I can't modify my Halo 2 maps?

King you need to extract the files from Sid 4 and then move the installer to the Ar use Winrar to extract them.

Srry about this, I am new to halo modding and I would like to know what you need to do in order to play halo 2 with softmods that give you super speed and that type of thing. What do I have to do after I finish the softmodding tutorial? Also, what is ftping and do you need to do it? What does it do? I also use a wireless g adapter if that makes any difference. In the softmodding tutiorial, you said that you needed only one of the three games mentioned. Will I be able to use halo 2 cheats by only using one of the three games that you mentioned? Thank you for all of your time and effort. I really appreciate having someone fill me in because nobody else will. Please answer my message in a private message.

Hey, I downloaded the sid.4.0 and saved it to my documents then i double clicked and dropped it on my desktop and now I cant get it to read in AR. It keeps saying its not a valid xbox game save. How do I get AR to accept it ?

And have you ever heard of a mirror? All it is is the same files just alternative downloads if one of the sites is down. So download any of them.

HELP!!!
I did everything in the tutorial up to the part where you turn off the xbox and reboot it. But when i do that everything on the screen is black, and it's still like that with a game in it as well.

very nice tut, i have looked through every page and found no help to the question i am asking.

i have everything softmodded, all steps followed exactly, but when i turn on my xbox goes directly to the m$ dash, i turned it on with the power and the open buttons, i have unistalled and re installed the soft mod 3 times, and there was no disc in the tray, any ideas?

Weird. If you would like to wait a few more days, I'm going to be linking to a better SID 4.0 that I've beta tested (so its more like a 4.1...but its not...we just changed the codes that gave errors). Once I upload it, I'll announce it in this thread and hopefully it will help.

ME too, altho im already softmodded, I wanna update, seeing as how its years old. Dont know what to use, theres SID4.5 and all the older ones, AID3.03 and all the older ones, and nk__, ect. I would just use the most recent SID.
