How to use Auto-Installer Deluxe

I am just gonna let the ISO updater sit for a really long time and see if it will proceed. I'll let you guys know my progress like in an hour hopefully it will be done, if it didn't freeze up.

Ok, good news and bad news. I'll start with the good news first.
I finally Got the ISO Updater to finally extract and update all the way so now i have a saved AID 3.10.
As for the bad news is, I followed everything you said about the DVD Decrypter, i went to ISO>write mode then Speed is at 1x and i went to AID3.10.iso when i went to browse for the file in DVD Decrypter. After doing all that, the green arrow doesnt light up and on the bottom it says Device Not Ready "Medium Not Present-Tray Closed"

You need to put a DVD-R in your DVD burner.

I have a DVD-RW in my CD-R/CD-RW Drive. Should'nt it still read the dvd?

Also, this will not work with a CD-RW or regular cd either huh?

Your drive says CD-R/RW...you should be able to answer your own question but in case you can't...CD-R's are not the same format as DVD-R's...why do you think company's sell CD drives and DVD drives....

Ok, nvm.
I transfered the whole folder to my sisters computer which has a dvd drive. It should all work now 1hour left to go.

For some reason on my sis's comp dvd decryptor wasnt working for it either. So i am burning it to the dvd using nero. Hopefully it works good and stuff, does anybody know how long it takes to burn to the dvd by any chance?

Shouldn't take very long...I would say 20 minutes at most, but I'm just guessing.

In Nero its been burning for about 30 min and it still says at 0%. Any one have any suggestions of what i should do or should i just let it burn all the way out?

lol i hit ctr alt del and found out that the program froze so i ended nero and restarted and now it is starting and it is already at 33%

i figured out my ma's computer can burn dvds and i can put the game right into the computer and load the data form the game on her computer like that so that should be easy.

I burned the AID 3.10 iso on DVD at slowest speed, to be safe. I installed the programs from the DVD onto the XBOX. During the emulators install I got an error log, and I checked the E:/ drive on the XBOX settings and all the emulators are there in the APPS folder okay. For some reason, I can no longer run the saved game from disc that is on my XBOX HD. It's there, but when I select to run it from the GAMES folder it just goes blank for a sec and returns back to the UnleashX dash. Also, I removed the RUN LINUX gamesave frome the XBOX HD thinking I didn't need it anymore, so I tried to put it back onto the HD to see if that was one of the problems and realized that I had no blocks of space left on my HD. Do you know why I am encountering this problem? Do I need to reinstall th RUN LINUX gamesave? I noticed that by having an XBOX game saved to XBOX HD that I no longer have any HD space left. Do you think I had error problems because I ran out of HD space? If so, I guess I have to FTP into the HD and delete the game....please let me know if I am on the right track. Thanks!

I realized that I needed to reload the RUN LINUX gamesave exploit back onto the XBOX HD, and that fixed my main problems. After that, I was able to run the XBOX game from HD as usual, as well as run the EMULATOR applications (although I still have to load ROMS). Do I load ROMS through FTP? Also, I will delete the XBOX game from the HD now (just loaded it to test the COPY GAME feature) which will clear up about 2 GB of space, then rerun the APPS that gave me an ERROR message the first time I tried to install AID.....Thanks for listening!!!

Sorry I haven't been around to answer any of you questions...

I mentioned in another post saying you should get the BAED so you don't take up all the hdd space with roms that you can just run off of a few DVDs. The only roms you'll need to put on the hdd are the N64 and if you are lucky enough to find some PSX roms.

And never delete the RUN LINUX gamesaves (2 of them) off your hdd. They are there in case your Xbox screws up.

do you need a chipped xbox to do this or can it be softmodded? I am new and just getting the hang of actually posting messages. I've only been reading them for so long.

oh, also, if i have a stock hdd with unleashed x as my dashboard, how much of aid can i really use before my hdd gets filled up? Thanx a lot. Any answers will be very appreciated. Azzid, you're doing a great job!

This can be used on softmods. You can install most of the stuff on the disc and you won't have a problem with your hdd space. I dont suggest installing everything b/c you won't use it all. Only install a few emulators and a few apps (especially XBMC 2.0).

how do you delete utorrent when you are done using it. i dont want to just drag it to the trash bin. i got the standalone utorrent. it hasn't installed itself or made any files for itself in my computer. i'm still afraid to drag it to the trash. also, when you are done downloading your files, do you need utorrent to open them again? can you delete utorrent and still use them?

can i use a cd-r for AID? will it work? sorry for asking so many questions. I just want to find out everything so i dont screw up.

where is winrar in all of this? what does it do in this situation? can i install winrar after i'm done with the AID download?
