SID 4 information, FAQ, and Troubleshooting

i used sid 3 instead and it didnt work and i have problem 13 im able to play games and all but i cant get to the xbox menu.when i try softmodding it or try to do xbox live trobleshooter it restarts the game and ive tried almost everything i need alot of helllpppp plzzzzzzz!!!

Ok this is off topic since its sid 3 but i'll answer it anyways,

error 13 is usualy a result of an error that you made while you were softmoding, its a dashboard launch failed.

You just need to install a proper dashboard .xbe so run the linux game (007 etc etc which ever u used) then install the dashboard on the right path. the good thing is you can acess the xbox otherwise you be SOL

Oh and if you dont want to do more trouble STAY AWAY from the xbox live trouble shooter as it will try to update your dash and will cause more errors/problems

Once again off topic but what exactly are you trying to say? the ftp is almost most likely for sure user error, not by softmod installer.

and by virus you mean that it tried to install its own way? i/we scripted it so that newbies or those "browsers " explores" etc etc dont make a mistake once sid 4 is installed properly.

I also had a problem with the whole SID I guess someone embedded a virus on a file that I had, and it screwed my xbox up something serious.
