The USB Device failed to enumerate

This is a discussion about The USB Device failed to enumerate within the Xbox Support section, where you will Receive help if you have a problem with your Xbox.; OK, I bought this action replay card probably about 6 months ago, had the same problem, and never tried again. But I've been seeing some amazing mods around, and i really want to play em.

The USB Device failed to enumerate

OK, I bought this action replay card probably about 6 months ago, had the same problem, and never tried again. But I've been seeing some amazing mods around, and i really want to play em. So I need to know how to solve this problem.

When i have my Action Replay card plugged in, the little icon by the clock on my computer says "The USB Device failed to enumerate". Whenever I take out my mem card, the action replay circle on the top flashes green for a little bit, but then it goes back to the dull green. When I'm in the action replay program, it doesn't show a memory card in the left column. I'm not able to drag files onto the AR anyway else. Does anybody know how to fix this?!?

It's a problem with the drivers of your USB port. I had the same problem when I first got Action Replay.

If that's not the problem, but I assume it is, then just try plugging it into a different computer.

Yea I've read tutorials about that, but I might've messed it up somehow.

Are you using USB 1.0 or 2.0?

Have you tried going into your device manager and updating the drivers for the USB port? One option would be to go to the manufacturer's web site and see if they have newer drivers than the ones you're using. A lot of the timer, the windows drivers used aren't the optimal ones for your hardware...

What about "enable legacy USB support" in your BIOS settings? Any chance that's not enabled??

Have you tried other USB ports on your computer, maybe it's just the one that doesn't work?

Try it on another computer, and see if it recognizes that its plugged in, if it doesn't, then it's a problem with your action replay itself.

Or you could try this.
