You mean fix the broken xbox with a modded one? IF so then no. But to fix Error 16 with a computer doesnt matter if it is modded or not.

Well its all good. I about did that too becasue there wasnt a tutorial to fix it.

so if you can get the organial xbox dash on there, dose that mean you can also get a softmoded dash board? or would you still get error 16 becuse there isn't an organial dash?

Once you have the original dash on there, you can set the clock. Then you can resoftmod.

ok, i have the HDD hooked up to my computer, it shows that i have an extra HDD, but when i open up xplorer360 non of my HDD shows up & when i try to hit open HDD or memcard, The error message is different it says "Could not find FATX drive to open" & then nothing shows up....what do i do?

Are you sure its unlocked?

That means its unlocked at that point and to go ahead and hotswap it.

but then why is it that i hook it up it shows that i lose my DVD/CD drive & gain another HDD, but when i go into xplorer360 & try to open it up nothing will come up? all it says is "Could not find FATX drive to open"

I also notice that the 2 xbox's that i have at my house are different, i tired it on the newer HDD, because the other one you can't trun on because of the plug.

also, question about the tut. should i have my Xbox on the whole time? untill the HDD is pluged back into its IDE cable hooked up to the xbox?

Your xbox needs to be on the entire time.
