Unanswered: What 750gb HDD would fit in my Xbox?

I have read all i could find on the web, and i'm still not quite sure on this one.

Correct me if im wrong, but as far as i know, the xbox is compliant with an ide harddrive, which either runs with ata or sata2..but as long as it has a 40pin connector..right? And what are the difference between ide 100 and 133? Can the xbox read them both?

All the posts i have found are not giving me any answers on this issue.

I havent been able to find such a big harddrive on the web, that would be able to connect to my xbox..Those i find are all equipped with newer and smaller interfaces which i dont think will connect to my Xbox..

Please tell me what 750gb drives i would be able to use..!!
Thanks a million!

Re: What 750gb HDD would fit in my Xbox?

The difference between the ATA-100 and the ATA 100/133 is that the 100/133 has faster load times of somewhere around 2minutes on average of most games I believe. I did it in almost every xbox I had because I felt for the price it was worth it. Also, I wouldn't go with anything over 500gigs, anything higher is overkill and a waste of your good money

Re: What 750gb HDD would fit in my Xbox?

Thanks everyone for your quick reply..
Ive been looking around and think i'll go with the:
"Samsung Spinpoint 750GB HD753LJ"
Here:

http://www.samsung.com/global/busine...3&model_cd=248

Been looking at some reviews, and it looks allright. Some speak of a data loss of 250gb..but if the capacity is 750gb, then i will get 750gb of harddrive storage right?

I know the interface is sata, and that is why i'm getting this "sata to ide converter- kit" here:
Computer Parts Denmark ApS -- IDE to SATA Adapter - Converts IDE Interface to SATA Interface
