Controller problem

This is a discussion about Controller problem within the Xbox Support section, where you will Receive help if you have a problem with your Xbox.; Ok i made a on/off switch in my controller using the extra yellow wire and now the controller wont work (the on/off button works but nothing else). Does anyone know what it could be?

Unanswered: Controller problem

Ok i made a on/off switch in my controller using the extra yellow wire and now the controller wont work (the on/off button works but nothing else). Does anyone know what it could be?

What do you mean made a switch? Do you mean, when you have the switch on, you can use the controller regularly? And when it is off, the buttons are supposed to not work no matter what you press?

I mean its a push button that goes in the controller and when you press it your xbox turns on or off but i got it fixed (forgot to plug the controller port back in -.-).
