Need help connecting xbox to wireless network

Unanswered: Need help connecting xbox to wireless network
I was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem. I recently got wireless roadrunner for my families labtops. I have a wireless adapter that I've used for the Xbox in the past and everything was fine. I used to use a netgear router but now they've installed a modem that works as a router.

Here's the part that I'm stuck at. The network has a WAP code for security but the Xbox only accepts WEP codes and I don't know how I'm supposed to fix this problem. The Xbox picks up my network and everything but it won't connect.

If anyone could help me out it would be much appreciated.

Alright, you're going to have to connect to your modem the same way you'd normally connect to a router(i.e. 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.2.1, etc) You'll have to figure out the one for your modem/router. You should more than likely be able to change it somehow from WAP to WEP. Add me on AIM when you need help: Xpope43X

The xbox doesnt support WAP, You need to change the router to wep. But I think pope handled you. If he did im gonna close this. Ill wait for your reply though.
