| Re: New HDD Problem That's the thing you helped me with in my other thread. You told me it was because of shadow C OK I fixed it. But now i have a new problem. In the process of moving the files from the tutorial, it deleted partition 4, which is the E: drive aka where the game saves go. so no i don't have game savees and i can't play games. how can i remake partition 4? I couldn't reformat, because xboxhdm would'nt let me rebuild the partition table because it wouldn't unlock the HDD. So i bought a new, bigger one, used xboxhdm to "BUild Xbox HDD from scratch", got it partitioned, but i can't lock the HDD. Last edited by Flaming Zephyr; 08-11-2008 at 05:50 PM. | ||||||

You can always use "XBpartitioner" to fix your missing partition problem. -FeudalNate Last edited by feudalnate; 08-11-2008 at 05:52 PM.

Boot up your xbox with the IDE cable for your DVD drive unplugged, and then when it gets to error 12 then you can plug it into your comp and boot up Xboxhdm.

How are you not able to lock your new HDD? Have you tired what we have suggested? You should do your research before attempting things like this, because there is ALWAYS problems. | Re: New HDD Problem Because what you suggested is for me to get another copy of my eeprom.bin, because according to you, my eeprom is bad, so i must restore my old HDD to install a softmod on it (EvoX), and then backup the eeprom, and then take that eeprom, reburn it onto a new xboxhdm disc, and then lock the NEW HDD with the NEW eeprom. So i can't get a new eeprom (as you guys suggested) until i restore my old HDD which I can't unlock to rebuild the e partition on it, and i can't burn an xiso file with config magic, or xbpartitioner, because i have no E partition to read the disc.

Aborting!", i try option 3 on the main menu, do unlockhd, and it doesn't change anything. When you get into the bios it will look something like this ![]() Change this auto setting by selecting it and pressing the + key on your keyboard until you get to user. Your screen will look like this. ![]() When you have user selected save and exit out of the bios menu, restart xboxhdm and try to lock/unlock then.
