| Unanswered: Dashboard Problem OK, So i previously softmodded my XBox. Everything worked great. And so my cousin decided to bring over a disc that had a bunch of modded Halo 2 maps on it. I asked if he followed the tutorial on this site, and he said yes. This was his first attempt at doing it, but i decided to believe him that he did it correctly. Big mistake. The second it loaded the disc, it cycled through every error screen, and then the screen went black and the XBox started making an annoying high pitched noise. So I unplug it, he says it was my fault that i "didn't mod it correctly" yet i was the one that modded his. So then i plug it back in, and i get a dashboard, just not the right one. I get the XBox Live dashboard. and i can't go back to the MS Dashboard because everytime i press a button, it just brings me back to the same screen. After using the disc, it unsoftmodded itself, and now i can't get to the game saves to re-mod it. Any ideas on how to get the original Dashboard back? I saw the tutorial on using the computer to burn a disk, swap out the HD's, and restore it to factory default, but i have alot of game saves on it, and i really don't want to re format it. | ||||||

| Re: Dashboard Problem OK I fixed it. But now i have a new problem. In the process of moving the files from the tutorial, it deleted partition 4, which is the E: drive aka where the game saves go. so no i don't have game savees and i can't play games. how can i remake partition 4? Google xplorer360 and get one of the newer ones and see if it is still there. Shadow C on the C drive does that. Hopefully you willnot have to reformat. | ||||||
