After looking around I've noticed there is only 1 tutorial on putting Yelo on your xbox and using it (its in the tut dem wrote and might be kind of hard for noobs to find). Things you will need: A Modded Xbox (Soft or Hard Mods) Yelo 1.5, Get it Here Xored Trainer Launcher 2.2, Get it Here An FTP Client, Get one at FileZilla - Free Client Download Winrar, At Rar Labs A Computer (you might not need one for this )Common Sense Download Xored Trainer Launcher and Yelo, Un-rar them with Winrar. When your done you should see these files. Files inside the mini folder: ![]() Files Inside of the Yelo folder: ![]() Now go into the mini folder and open up the Xored (configuration settings) file with notepad (right click>open with...). You will see something that looks like this ![]() Change this: ![]() To # 1 trainer path only Trainers_Path = "E:\Trainers" #Trainers_Path = "E:\Trainers" Now save the it and DON'T change the .ini extension. Now FTP everything (except for the Trainers folder) from the mini folder to E:\Apps (if you don't have an apps folder, make one). These are the files you should have FTPed ![]() Now in your FTP program make a folder in the E drive (E:\) called "Trainers" (without the quotes). Now FTP the Yelo15.etm file into E:\Trainers. In the Yelo folder there should be 2 files config v1.5.txt and config v1.5.inc. You need to FTP the .INC file to "E:/TDATA/4D530064/". In the folder we just FTPed to (E:/TDATA/4D530064/) there should be two folders, $u, and $C. We have to change the names of these files to anything but $C & $u or Halo 2 will know that you have the new maps on your xbox. I will change mine to "$u/" and "$C/". Thats it, your done putting Yelo on your xbox .NOTE: If you want to play the new maps when you disable the auto update you will need to patch your mainmenu so all the maps show up, find the patch at All New Map Mainmenu Patches Now You can play Yelo with your disk or play off the Hard Drive (the Hard Drive is the best way to go). Hee are the comands you use to make Yelo do different things. Code: dpad-up = increase cam speed dpad-down = decrease cam speed dpad-left = decrease look speed dpad-right = increase look speed lthumb+rthumb = toggle timefreeze lthumb+dpad-up = increase vertical look shift lthumb+dpad-down = decrease vertical look shift lthumb+dpad-left = increase horizontal look shift lthumb+dpad-right = decrease horizontal look shift lthumb+A = lthumb+B = lthumb+X = lthumb+Y = lthumb+black = disable cinematic mode lthumb+white = enable cinematic mode lthumb+start = lthumb+back = stillcam rthumb+dpad-up = decrease camera depth (move forward) rthumb+dpad-down = increase camera depth (move back) rthumb+dpad-left = increase fov (zoom out) rthumb+dpad-right = decrease fov (zoom in) rthumb+A = save camera state (shifts, fov, and depth) rthumb+B = load camera state (shifts, fov, and depth) rthumb+X = save gamestate rthumb+Y = load gamestate rthumb+black = rthumb+white = rthumb+start = rthumb+back = cutscene cam back+start = back+dpad-up = first person perspective back+dpad-down = third person perspective back+dpad-left = chasecam perspective back+dpad-right = devcam perspective start+dpad-up = start+dpad-down = start+dpad-left = start+dpad-right = black+dpad-up = increase z cam shift black+dpad-down = decrease z cam shift black+dpad-left = decrease y cam shift black+dpad-right = increase y cam shift black+back = black+start = white+dpad-up = white+dpad-down = auto hires grabber white+dpad-left = vidcap white+dpad-right = 360 degree shot white+back = screenshot white+start = while in devcam... rtrigger = move up along z axis ltrigger = move down along z axis A+dpad-up = letterbox toggle A+dpad-down = wireframe A+dpad-left = hud toggle A+dpad-right = ai toggle A+back = A+start = A+black = decrease ambient light brightness A+white = increase ambient light brightness B+dpad-up = teleport to current camera coordinates B+dpad-down = B+dpad-left = decrease gamespeed B+dpad-right = increase gamespeed B+back = B+start = B+black = B+white = X+dpad-up = secondary light vertical increase X+dpad-down = secondary light vertical decrease X+dpad-left = secondary light horizontal decrease X+dpad-right = secondary light horizontal increase X+back = X+start = X+black = decrease secondary light brightness X+white = increase secondary light brightness Y+dpad-up = primary light vertical increase Y+dpad-down = primary light vertical decrease Y+dpad-left = primary light horizontal decrease Y+dpad-right = primary light horizontal increase Y+back = Y+start = Y+black = decrease primary light brightness Y+white = increase primary light brightness Things You Will Need: A modded xbox with 1Gb of memory free (soft or hard mod) Unleash X dash (any dash with a file browser/copier will do) or an FTP program. A Halo 2 Disk A Computer Common Sense Ok, there are two ways of doing this. 1. (Instead of FTPing all the files from your disk you can get them here)To get H2 on your hdd with an FTP program, put your halo 2 disk in the tray and let it start spinning. Then open your FTP client and locate your D drive, copy the update, dash, default and downloader files to your computer (make it an easy place to remember). Now goto your E drive on your xbox then your games folder (if you don't have one make one) and create a new folder called "Halo 2" (no quotes) and inside that make 3 new folders called bink, maps and media. Go inside the maps folder and make another new folder called fonts and now your done making folders . So go back to your D drive and copy everything from the media folder to your computer then to your xbox (to the media folder you just made in the E drive). Next go inside the maps folder and copy the files from the fonts folder to your computer then to your xbox. Now all thats left is the maps folder (we don't need any files from bink because its just the intro and credits) so in your D drive again copy the mainmenu, shared and depending on if you will be modding campaign SP shared.maps from the maps folder to your computer then to your xbox and put them in the corasponding folder. Thats everthing you will need to play halo 2 off your hdd but don't forget to copy the maps you want to play from your D drive to your E>Games>Halo 2>maps folder.Or 2. If you have Unleash X for your dash then goto your file browser and go into your D drive (make sure halo 2 is in your xbox) Then press the right trigger and it will move to the next column, from there go to E>Games and make a folder called "Halo 2" (no quotes). Now press the left to go back to your other column and copy the update, dash, default and downloader files to your new Halo 2 folder you just made (when the file is highlighted press start and hit copy). Now go back to the right side column (right trigger) and inside the Halo 2 folder make 3 new folders called bink, maps and media. Back to your left side column and copy everything from the media folder to the media folder on your E drive. Then go inside the maps folder on your E drive and make a folder called fonts and copy the files from your D drive fonts to your E drive fonts folder. Now all you need to do is put the mainmenu, shared and SP shared.maps in the maps folder on your E drive, once thats done, copy the maps your want to mod/play from your D drive to your E. I will be getting pictures soon for the tuts on adding Halo 2 to your hdd.

You have to disable it or rename the update folders in TDATA folder. David forgot to mention that. In Dem Pyros' tutorial it explains that and tells you what to do. David fails!!! lol.

(Is assuming this is the tut David was talking about) I have checked and Yelo is installed correctly. If I use a normal, unmodded mainmenu.map, the game loads and is fine. But if I modify it in Menu Menu Menu/Map Map Map (and resign it), it just gets to 100% then does nothing. However, I am able to replace a level with lockout (I would rename the .map file 'lockout'), load an unmodified mainmenu, choose lockout, and the map I replaced it with would work. However, this means I can only use one modified level per time.
