softmodding with splintercell

Here is a simple Tutorial on softmodding using splinter cell:

Items you'll need:
1). Splinter cell (Stealth action defined) non-platinum
2). The Linux saves for SC found HERE
3). FlashFXP which u can find HERE
4). The .PPF files for the maps your gonna mod
5). Action Replay 4 xbox

Now your ready to mod your xbox

Step 1). Download both linux saves for splinter cell.

Step 2). Put them onto your action replay by simply dragging them onto the action replay window.

Step 3). Put the saves on your Xbox's HD.

Step 4). Start up SC and you’ll see your profile (if youve ever played the game) and a profile called Linux.

Step 5). Select the Linex-profile and then go to Checkpoints you’ll go into a different screen with a spinning EVOX in the background.

Step 6). Once your there you’ll see different options ignore all of them accept System Utils, click it and then go to settings.

Step 7). Leave your xbox in that screen and go to your PC and open up FlashFXP, Once you’ve opened it click on the lightning bolt in the top center/right and sign in with the username xbox and password xbox

once your in your box go to E then go to TDATA ---> 4d530064 ---> $c (it should look somthing like this /E/TDATA/4d530064/$c/).

Step 9). Open c$ and there should be 3 folders. Each folder represents a map pack

NOTE: Some maps will be called different names like: Deltatap=Sancutary, Triplicate=Terminal, Dune=Relic

Step 10). On the left side of FlashFXP make a folder called 'originals' and then drag&drop the .map files into it

Step 11). Open up PPF-O-MATIC and were it says ISO file put in the "Original map" your gonna mod.

(NOTE: MAKE SURE U MAKE BACK UP COPIES OF THE ORIGINAL MAPS)

After were it says PATCH, put in the .ppf for that map (screenshot below) when u click on the open file u have to change the type to file to "All Files" and that lets u select the .map file.

And then just hit apply

Step 12). After u patched all your maps that u wanted with PPF-O-MATIC, resign them and then go back to FlashFXP and MAKE SURE UR PUTTING THE MAP BACK INTO THE FILE IT CAME FROM
Just drag it to where it was on your xbox and then click OVERWRITE ALL and then you’ll have your modded maps on your xbox.

Step 13). After u got all your maps on your box, click disconnect on FlashFXP and close it, then restart your xbox and put halo 2 in

NOTE: If u don’t want to get permanent ban on your main account I would recommend only modding on 2-month free trials
