![]() | I followed this tutorial to the T and was able to MOD my xbox without spending a dime. I had used a non-solder mod chip before, but this was easier. The hardest part was finding Ndure-3.0, the vague link threw me, I ended up searching and getting it somewhere else. I was very impressed and appreciate the great work that went into this. Have a great day! Bill  Last edited by billlock; 07-05-2007 at 04:42 PM.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Well when I try to back up my c drive it tells me that it cant backup the audio files because of too many files open. Then when I use the install ndure link it trys to back up the c drive again and it gets the same error. Will it still work right and how do I fix it?

![]() ![]() ![]() | Well forrestmaster you're problem seems to be unique I wouldn't worry about backing up you're music as this can be done after the softmod occurs via FTP Do you have a massive amount of music on your XB? I think that the softmod should work just fine if problems occur delete the music on the XB that you already have on CD or other HDDR devices you can put these back on by converting to WMA on your PC and then FTPing back to E/music quicker than doing it just with the XB Both CASH and forrestmaster let me know how you got on and please bang a thanks on the original post of the Tut if you think it deserves it, so folk know it's worth reading/attempting Last edited by LD50; 07-23-2007 at 01:59 AM.

![]() ![]() ![]() | If you have a backup of your audio I'd delete the all the audio from the XB and then try again 1 question how much memory do you have on your PC? It shouldn't make a difference I'm just curious I don't understand what you mean with regard to
another question everything about this mod is stock correct (normal issue HDD dashboard updated to 5960)? Last edited by LD50; 07-23-2007 at 08:37 PM.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yes, I know a lot about xbox's Im not some nub. My comp wasnt the one running out fo memory. The xbox was. My comp has a 120 gb hdd. But my xbox's is stock. But I hotswaped to get rid of all the files that it tried to back up and when I went to hotswap the e partion was gone. Then when I tried again all the partions were gone. Fatx found the hdd and so did xplorer360 but xplorer couldnt open up the partions because there were none. Just thought I would let you know.

![]() ![]() ![]() | Yes cash there is an element of risk to this just as theres a element of risk to crossing the road, I found this tut as NooB double O zero (never opened an xbox up before) and managed just fine within a hour, If you still have concerns I would recomend using xplorer360 to make a back up image of your XB HDD ( you hotswap the xb hdd on to your pc whilst it is in windows, you will need 10 GB of free PC HDD space ) a back up image can cure all ills Forrest just a thought can you "system restore" to when the image was on your PC Its a long shot as 10 GB of HDD space can be written over quite easily on a small 40GB hdd like mine but If you have a BIG hdd or if the delete was quite recent you could be in luck Last edited by LD50; 07-24-2007 at 11:43 PM.
