do i have to fully install this for flash fxp to connect to it, because i put the ip and the password adn username as xbox but it doesnt connect

yes it must be fully installed to point where it says. installation completed. for flash to connect

ok well do i need to use PAL or NTSC because right now im on modded dashboard NTSC (not installed yet) and i dont want to mess up anything

north america = ntsc
pal = most of the rest of the world

If this allows you to play burned games why would people even want to mess with mod chips?
Also azzid. I think its time you update this tut. It is awsome but look at all the posts. Most of them are just the same questions over and over again. You should just add a step or two covering the questions in your tut so people will stop asking the same thing over and over again. Dont blame em though when there is seven pages to read through.

Ok, i softmodded and i did everything right, sayed your xbox need 1 more step to continue, i clicked yes, it installed, it rebooted like your tut said but it didnt come up with the Unleash screen, just rebooted and came back to the M$ dash, i turned it off and back on, i think the problem might be the dual boot for NTSC or Pal, i picked NTSC, i have a version 1.1 xbox so whats up

boot the xbox with the EJECT button and you should be at your modded dash

It doesn't matter how detailed he gets in the tut. People will still miss something, screw something up, and then come back and ask questions that are already answered.

ah, i think i know why, does it matter, i have the halo multiplayer map map disc, so that doesnt have the newest dash does it, so if i hook it up to xbox live and get the updates, and then reboot my unleash should boot shouldnt it

So not having the newest update make it so the unleash dash wouldnt come up?

ok, im doing 4.5 right now, and what i have here is like, when u go to install mod this is what i have as options:

Single Boot
{inside it]
Instal Evox as dash
instal unleashx as dash

Dual boot, open gamesave menu
[inside it]
Instal Evox as dash
instal unleashx as dash

Knave's Ndure, Open Tray-Retail
[inside it]
Instal Evox as dash
instal unleashx as dash

I installed UnleashX when i got into dual boot one, and i installed it also at knaves endure, i installed witout turning it off. After im done instaling it at knaves ndure, it asks me if i wanna turn it off so it completes the instalation, i ckick yes, the xb turns off. I turn it back on, wit splinter cell inside, and it opens the game, i get in the sofmod menu, and nothing happens. I installed them both again, and i turned it off, turned it on again without game inside. All i get is ms dash wit xbox live troubleshooting menu. What did i do wrong, i did all azzid wrote, his tut is for 4.0, im doing 4-5, anybody help me!!!!

okay that happened to me to all u do is sign on to a game with xbox live so it can get th time and stuff, dont worry u wont be bannedand then u will need to coldboot with no game in the tray.

I MODDED MY XBOX, YAY! one last thing, when i try to launch my ms dash on unlshx it says its not found, and i backed it up, wtf is wrong, it says this

Unable to launch "C:\msdashxbe" Dile does not exist, can i steel get on live and what do i do now?

never mind, i found it, lol im so good
