How to change startup dashboard w/ Pics

This is a short and simple tutorial on how to change the dashboard that automatically boots up when you power on your modded xbox.

Requirements:

Xbe-ShortcutMaker- Xbox-Scene News: Team UIX's Xbe Shortcut Maker v1.0
or
MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

FlashFXP or FTP capability

Dashboard you want to change to

#1. Download and open the Xbe Shortcut maker

#2. Choose the path to the dashboard .xbe that you want to make your bootup dashboard. Im making mine XBMC, so I will change the path to E:\apps\XBMC\default.xbe

#3. Click "Create Shortcut", and save the file as default.xbe in a location that you can easily navigate to in your FTP program.

#4. Open your FTP program, and connect to your Xbox.

#5. Navigate through your E: drive to the dashboard folder and replace the default.xbe

#6. Reboot your Xbox, and enjoy your new dashboard!

will this work with the same ida like in diffrent dashborad as long as i have the sid fonts in the i m making a disc installer

PLZZZ help distort i did your tut of H2X tools v2 i got XBMC to work p[erfectly cause i switched it with evox but then i didnt like XBMC so i decided to get Unleshed X and know the Unleshed X dashboard wont start up it just stays on the Xbox Thing and i cant ftp to it no more but i can still play games on it.. so basicallly i got no dashboard i think? HELP PLEASE!

put the splinter cell disc into the xbox, or whatever game you used to mod your xbox.

Then turn it on with the game in the tray, and goto the setup.

You can FTP to your Xbox then.

i did this with my small installer i made and i have over 15 diffrent dashboards on it and i used the shortcute maker tool and if works so if you dont want to try to use it go ahead and try it some other way and mess up ur xbox it works nice good tut

Over 15 different dashboards, eh? Really? Which ones? Because there's only like, four or five commonly used dashboards...six if you count XBMC. You're telling me you made a complex installer, complete with every dashboard ever made, and you can't even type a proper sentence?
