in this Guide you will learn how to FTP maps to and from your xbox.

Materials: Softmodded xbox, halo 2, xbox live (or ethernet cable connected to your xbox), a router ( used to connect your xbox to your pc and to connect your pc to your internet), Flash FXP (please search for it on this site i do not have rapidshare or whatever the other one was).


Step one:

open up flash FXP and turn on your modded xbox (you will either need no disc in your xbox or you will need splinter cell depends on if you have the modded dashboard or if you just have the softmod and no modded dashboard). if you need to use splinter cell then just do the same as when you installed your softmod and go to that screen with the "backups" and the "install softmods". go to settings in splintercell dashboard or your modded dash board and then change the ip address to DHCP ( dont change the numbers just put it to DHCP). now back to your computer, click quick connect on flash FXP and look at your xboxs IP address (you need to look at your tv to find this) it should be something like "192.168.1.105" (tis is just an example not your IP address). once you have done this go under drive E on the left side which is your xbox. then you will see 4 things but click on the one that says "TDATA", then you will see alot of what appear to be random numbers, scroll down until you see the numbers "4d530064" and click on it, then you will see 2 more folders click on c$, then you are in your map folders, 001 contains the maps "containment, and warlock", 002 contains "deltatap,(scantuary),gemini, and turf", 003 contains"backwash,dune(relic),elongation, and triplicate(terminal)" create a new folder and call it something like "unmodded maps" or something like that and transfer all of the maps into it by right clicking and clicking transfer. do the same thing when you mod a map just transfer it back into your xbox into the right folder and remember you have to delete the original map off your xbox before the modded map will work. congrats you just learned FTP.
