How to get on XBL with softmod!! NO Uninstalling!!

i done this a while ago when i dident know how to uninstall my softmod, and found it out by mistake kinda.

i used unleash X

1 -press the eject button and load the modded dash
2 -go to network settings and change ur ip to dhcp, save, then turn ure xbox off
3 - turn bak on with disk tray open and put the game in, but dont close the disk tray
4 - go bak to network setting and change ure ip bak 2 static
5 - turn ure xbox off and turn it bak on with game in (dont open the disk tray)

this works 4 me so should work 4 evry1 else, plz leave feadbak

I usually just cold boot the game I want to play. That works.

Why would you have to uninstall your softmod?, I have krayzies autoinstaller evoX and I just turn the softmod off by either pressing switch to M$ or putting splinter cell in and running it and pressing turn off softmod..

I just press the eject button when my xbox is off, then it goes to normal dash(ms), then i put in halo and it works fine

I must of done this a while back because i signed into xbl with a modded xbox without even knowing and i didnt get banned! it wasnt untill my xbox frozze and i restarted untill i found out i had my softmod running! it was ****ed up because i didnt know what i was doing lol

thats what i do, the softmod has to be turned off, and the only way to do that is to do a cold reboot wit no game in drive. when you turn it on with an open tray, you get to msd, and then u can enjoi. make sure ur ip is set dhcp/automatic, and under the dsl settings for unleash x, it says automatic, choose yes, and youre ready to go.

That's exactly what I do... works every time.

Heres what I do.

1.) Start Xbox and open CD tray while Xbox is loading, it will then go to Microsoft Dash.
2.) It will not connect to Live, so then troubleshoot.
3.) On the troubleshooter, go to Settings.
4.) Go to IP Settings.
5.) Change to Automatic.
6.) Push in CD tray with CD in.
7.) Turn off.
8.) Turn back on and game will load and connect.
