How to use Auto-Installer Deluxe

Ok, I guess I don't need a TV to FTP so that would work. Provided I can figure it out. I think I may have finally found some copies of the BAEDs so that may remove my need for FTPing. Until I find something else I want to stick on there...
I'm going to re-mod my box so my brother can follow me step by step, then I'll try getting the stuff on there, thanks for the help!

Actually you do need a tv to ftp...if you dont have your video cables plugged in, the Xbox comes up with an error.

Actually, the newest version does have roms on it. Sorry I was a little slow in giving this info, but I haven't felt like repairing my computer in about a week. Lolz.

Doh! Hmmm, I'll figure something out. I might just try to get the last 3 BAEDs and stick those on there. I'll also try out ftping offline once I re-mod.

This isn't going directly to anyone, but i need an AID disk so i can fix my x box from my newbie grasp, I couldn't get on XBL when i got mods and i screwed up my entire x box trying to get it off. If you have an aid disk you don't use/ want anymore, I'm willing to p@y.( or you can make another one) Just PM me here or email me at mrbrandman@cox.net with the subject titled, "i can help".

If you are asking if you can run it with unleashedX yes you can
And you can also change your dashboard i suggest XBMC

yeah, as it is now, I load unleashX and then have to choose XBMC through applications. I can't find the xboxmedia.ini file to change XBMC to automatically route to the F: drive to pull up all my games movies and music I put in folders there.
So i can just load unleashX, run the Autoinstaller, and reload everything?

can I make xbmc my default dash with the autoinstaller deluxe? which is better - AID or SLayer's?
MY FTP is super slow for upload to the Xbox, so I just burn porn and movies and such to disc and then transfer from within the box. it is so much faster. I got a keg of beer and two chicks on the living room transfering Hustler's GIRLS OF THAILAND Vol. 1, 2 & 3 to the box.

In my years of experience i have to come to a conclusion that slayer discs are made for xbox that are hard modded not soft modded so i would go with AID and yes as soon as you select XBMC and want to install it it overwrites your original .Xbe file so it will be xbmc as your main dash

Slayers is outdated anyway. AID has come a long way and is very good. I've used AID to recover 3 Xbox's that were essentially paper weights at the time.

Thanks there big daddies!!! I got my whole system down now! Steps
1: I took a new HD and threw into the XboxHD Maker. Unlocked it - Made XboxHD from Scratch -
then re-locked it
2. Put it back into the Xbox. (all this time it was still power corded into the Xbox)
3. I loaded the Action Replay Saves.
4. I installed the Linux via Splinter Cell.
5. Ran Auto-Installer Deluxe.
6. Changed my E:\dashboard\default.xbe file to one I downloaded from online. Created a .cfg
text file in notepad to direct it to F:\Apps\XMBC\default.xbe
I'm using the MC360 skin. It rocks. We even watched my youtube videos from this old dusty rusty xbox I used to have collecting dust. Now it's an amazing work of technology. I got two in the living room as I write this, playing Mario Cart. They are drunk and lovin' it all. Thanks guys. i'm gonna go burn up some pavement on the bike for a few hours. I'm feeling pretty content with myself.

CAn I do this same thing to an Xbox360? I am about to enherit a 360 with a bad dvd drive. Can I install a new dvd Drive, larger hard drive, and then Install XBMC with AID?
