Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Award(s): 0 ![]() | How to softmod using Linux and Splinter Cell Please note: You must have the Linux file on your hard drive, then onto your Splinter Cell 1 game to complete this. 1. First go to your Splinter Cell games home page 2. Then go to start game and load up your Linux profile. 3. Then click on checkpoints and you will load into a new screen to softmod your Xbox 4. First go to create MS backup. Then click yes. 5. After you make a new MS backup go to create mod backup. Then click yes. 6. After you create your mod backup then go to create EEPROM backup. Then click yes. 7. After you complete all 3 steps then go to install softmod then it should say 4 different options. Look below on the bottom box and look at video and look at what it says. Only click on the one that matches the one you saw under video. And click the dual boot version of it. Then click on knave's Endure, open tray=retail. Then click on the type of dashboard you would like to install. 8. Once it is installed then it should tell you to reboot your xbox, click yes. Once your xbox rebootes your xbox should be softmodded Getting a new dash. 1. Go back to the Linux file in your Splinter Cell game, the same one you used to softmod your xbox and go to uninstall softmod. 2. When you finished uninstalling it repeate the steps above then select a new dash. Important: All of your files will be saved on your hard drive but the changes you made to your modded xbox will be lost. | ||||||
