| jesus, sorry to bump this ancient thread but i've read all of the posts and i have a new problem. At one point I had linux working just fine on my xbox, without the disk, I used the frugal install. However, I tried to install starcraft just to test it and so I did the loopback install. everything went fine. I went to voodoo's house and played GTA for a while then came home and decided I wanted to section off some more space with the loopback install so I just like a n00b deleted the file on my E:\ drive that had loopback in the name and then the next time I ran linux it didn't work. I realized I screwed something up so I deleted all of the linux files and completely re-installed it. Now it boots up sometimes, and sometimes it gets to the screen with the 'x' in the middle of all of the grey. But even when it boots up, it freezes while loading the icons. I cleared all cache data that I am aware of and I still have the problem WTF? | ||||||
