Well i got it to work and everything but like madandandrew said the ****ing screen size my problem is that i cant see everything. I think its my tv

I got it to the desktop with the keyboard up, but, then I needed to go drove in the DE car.

any way to put aim on it? i try to use firefox, but its jsut maximized and i cant type using the virtual keybaord lol.

I can't move the arrow on the screen with the controller, it just goes to that start page with the virtual keyboard up and the desktop behind it, but it's unmovable, not mobile, uncontrollable, I can't make it move would be the point I am trying to get across...

yah i had that problem for a while to you can switch through 5 or more screens by using i think left analog stick or maybe it was D-pad i cant remember

anyway you have firefox running and you switch to another screen start virtual keybaord then minimize it then switch back to firefox and the press B at the bottom and click on virtual keyboard then you should be able to use it

also you could get a USB to xbox adapter off ebay for like 2 bucks and then get a mouse and keyboard that would be much nicer

Yes, I could get a USB connector and get a mouse and keyboard, but for now I want to use the controller, so how do I get it to work?

hey this works great and all but i'm trying to get a new version of aim on there using wine but that's not working so well

when i install it how come it is like all crazy looking its not even a picture its just all scrambled i cant see anything
and then when i press A it takes me to the original dash

EDIT: now when i install it does nothing but bring me to blue screen that says somthing but i cant see it casue its off the screen all i see is the bottom of the text

alright you probably havent done anything first of all how are you doing this by ftp install or cd if its cd then its not that hard just get the iso but if its ftp you have edit the linuxboot.cfg file (read the readme on how to do that) then make sure extracted the file right big mistake i made was extracting the knnopix file when you werent supposed to it took me way long to figure that out

LETS SAY U COLD BOOT TO PLAY ONLINE AND THEN U USE THIS WILL U GET BANNED IF U PLAY LETS SAY HALO2 AFTER U HAVE FINISHED USING THIS PROGRAM AND WAT GETS BANNED AND I SOFTMOD NOT HARDMOD

alright you had exactly the same problem as i had so what you do you go back to the original file on your computer get the knoppix file and DO NOT UNZIP OR WINRAR IT just ftp it to the right spot
oh did you have all the right cases set up like it says cuz that also could the problem

um im pretyy sure it should work becouse i have unleashedX and my x-dsl runs like an app then i cold boot also and play halo 2 on xbl and i havnt been banned yet so i think your fine

Just make a Cd Just get a DVD burner and burn it on a DVD thats what i did and i had X-dsl on my xbox less then 30 mins. But ya just get AID 2.11 final and put it on burn it on a DVD and then it has X-dsl in it and alot of more programs!

what is this AID that you speak of and what are the programs that come with it
I have a small obsession with xbox programs

and i think the only reason ppl dont do the DVD thing is becouse they dont have a DVD burner or one that works
becouse mine wasnt working at the time when i did it and it only took me like an hour to do the ftp install

Oh AID 2.11 has alot of different programs and dashes and in and it has emaultion alot of different stuff. I would say its a nice DVD to have for the modded xbox because all the programs are on there.
