![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I know this is a month after the fact, but... Thank you for sharing this, but everybody's right. Don't post somebody else's work here without giving the proper credit (and getting permission) Also, could this be used to connect a usb keyboard through the controller?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | To answer my own question: In theory, yeah you could use this with a USB keyboard. That's why I thought it was a good idea. You'd have to try it for sure, but if you take and hook a USB dongle to the controller cable, you get a USB adapter. The memory card plugs directly into the controller cable, so I don't see why this wouldn't work for a keyboard. Last edited by digitalhigh; 09-04-2006 at 11:14 PM.

| You can use this for a USB Keyboard or Mouse, this one company actually sells ones they produce for a game they make that needa a keyboard\mouse... And this CAN be used to transfer stuff to the Xbox obviously.... Before you insert your Flash Drive into the port make sure nothing important is on it, because I accidently put mine in w\ some files on it and it got formatted (i had backups though) To get your Flash Drive FATx formatted simply put in your Flash Drive and boot to the M$ Dash, then you can put the flash drive back into your computer and move Action Replay Files to it from what I hear... You can also use the flash drive to use Non-gamesave files to the XBOX, you must boot into EvoX UnleashX or whatever dash your using and copy the files onto the XBOX drive, since the built in file manager doesn't like to copy things you need to use a file manager APP, go find one b\c I don't know which you should use... | ||||||

| This is one of the Stages of one of the USB connecters I make ![]() The picture isn't great quality (camera on to low of setting), but you can still make out what it is easily, on the bottom is a USB Female, on the top is a USB Male, In the bottom left it shows the type of each prong, and then in the center it shows the orientation of my wires in the picture... Red = +5 Volts DC (+5 VDC) White = Data - Green = Data + Black = Ground (GND) I'm most likely going to hack up a controller break off dongle this time, but If I wanted to I could build the USB port directly into the controller, or in a memory card or communicator port... | ||||||
