but in the other tuts they say you need a floppy drive. and pretty sure the computer i use doesnt have a cd burner

my tut does not say you HAVE to use a floppy drive, it's just recomended. I dont use one.

and then the big section at the BOTTOM is for you guys, it tells all about locking the HDD, and no its not illegal, the links in the guide DO work, tell me if the methods are out-dated...

I don't have the internet modem to FTP, I mean its not dial up, but its a certin thing... Could I somehow hook up my Xbox HD to my comp. to do transfer and put files on that way?

ok little help please

i have done many hd upgrades
but never have used any hd's bigger than 250 gb a freind of mine wants a 500 gb hd in his xbox

my ? is how do i format other partitions i have been using unleash x after creating the hd to format f and g but what about other partitions
and what if any dashboards will reconise the other partitions

i have been using unleash x to format the partitions is there a better way

seems with unleash x it will only format uo to like 132 gb or somthing like that is there a way to format with xbox media center

i am using xbhdm to create the drives
