Arrow Tut on How to Burn Games, and ISO Creating

When I looked at all the tuts and tried different ones on how to burn games it didn't work for me either...so I'll tell you how I found out which way worked the best.

THIS WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO GET ON XBOX LIVE

You Need to Have the Following Programs:
AIO v2(All In One)
FlashFXP(FTP Client)
DVD Decryptor(Burns ISO to blank DVD-R(W))
Blank DVD-R(W)

Open up FlashFXP and connect to your softmodded xbox. Put the game that you want to copy in the drive. Then proceed to copy all the files in the D folder from your xbox to your computer. Put all the files your transferring into an empty folder. That will take a while so you may go and do something and come back when it's done.

After the file transfer is complete, open up AIO v2 and then follow this path Menu-->Other-->Qwix and open up Qwix. When Qwix loads click on the "Create ISO" icon on the left side. Then you will see several options to choose from, click on the empty circle next to "Local Folder". Then click on the three periods to the right of it. It will then bring up another window and find and select the folder that all the files were transferred into. DO NOT GO INSIDE THE FOLDER. Just select the folder and click OK. That should close the window and then click the "Create ISO" button in Qwix. That will also take a fair amount of time to create the ISO, so once again feel free to go and do something and come back.

After the ISO is created a message will come up telling you that the ISO file was created. Click OK. You can then close Qwix and open up DVD Decryptor. Once DVD Decryptor is loaded, follow this path Mode-->ISO-->Write. Make sure that "Write" has a check mark next to it. Then under the menu bar there will be a section that will say "Source", under that it will say "Please select a file.." To the right there will be a folder with a magnifying glass on it, click it(All of these items are small). A new window will pop up and click on the ISO file that you created.

Now all you have to do to burn the game is click the green play arrow at the bottom and DVD decryptor will then burn the ISO onto your blank DVD-R(W). And that is the way that worked for me.

Hi....
Here is my situation:
The DVD drive on my XBox is dead. Is it possible to rip a game disc on your PC so it can then be uploaded to the XBox?

Thanks,
Sean

Its possible to do so without a kreon drive. You can find tutorials in the xbox 360 section that teach a hotswap method using "wxripper", these tutorials also work with extracting an xbox game, except i had to make a few modifications myself. First thing is that you will need to extract the files using xdvdmulleter, and rebuild them using quix, secondly, you will only need to use a standard dvd-r, unless you plan on playing the disks on the xbox 360 which then you will need to use a dvd-r DL.

Re: Tut on How to Burn Games, and ISO Creating

I was wondering is there any way I can get firmware for my disc drive in my computer(Dell Inspiron) So it can burn dvd discs both - and + discs. It will read them but not burn them or write to them whatever you want to call it. Thanks in advance
