>> Redline99 released a new version of Xbox Backup Creator(info) - a tool that will allow you to easily dump, create/patch and burn Xbox and Xbox 360 images with full support for SS, DMI and PFI.

What's new/fixed:
* Fixed - Some drive/media combinations didn't report Available bytes correctly
* Added - Option to Perform the OPC or not, Default = True
* Added - Option to Perform the Track Reservation or not, Default = True
* Added - Fix for Invalid Xbox One Security Sector (Kreon pre .81 and Hitachi F900)
* Added - Better support for Maximus-Garyopa Hitachi-LG Xtreme v2.2 Stealth 8in1 (limited)
* Added - Support for Frog Aspi v0.29.4, Frog Aspi - the FREE wnaspi32.dll replacement (Included)
* Added - Support for TS-H943A Xtreme v4.0 Game Partition Unlock command
* Changed - Set Write Speed, Hopefully more compatible
* Changed - New method of monitoring the tray status
* Changed - GetMediaStatus routine, to allow for more waiting after closing a disk
* Changed - Increased the File IO read timeout, this puts more responsibility on the burners buffer-underrun tech
* Note: Please start using the Frog Aspi v0.29.4 in ASPI mode. If it works for everyone then I will probabally set that as default next time.
* Note: If you have used the setup version, it should upgrade ok using the new installer. But if you want to stay on the safe side then use the Add/Remove Programs to uninstall the previous version first.

Well, to make the disk, I'm almost positive it works. It even allows you to patch the security sectors.

do you ftp to your xbox with this program to get the game or do you stick it into your dvd drive in your computer?

haha noob. You can still "crop" with paint. Just get the rectangle marquee (w/e it is) tool and select around it, ctrl c, file>new, ctrl v...there ya go...your "cropped" image. Noob haha j/p

where do u get firmware hacks to do this.do i do it to my burner or my cd drive and will it **** it up

alright... so i have a samsung drive, model SD-616, i flashed it with the 605b firmware and put my halo 2 disk in. i opened it in a folder and inside the folder there was another folder named VIDEO_TS, inside that there are more BUP and IFO files... if sum1 can tell what to do with those i would greatly appreciate it. i also downloaded xbox backup creator and put the disk in and then got this Found ODD: SAMSUNG DVD-ROM SDG-605B x010 at [1:0]
Getting media info [1:0]
Media Type: Not Present i tried it on both STPI and ASPI yet it wont let me read or do anything with the disk... PLEASE HELP!
