Connect both your PC and Xbox to the same router, and set the xbox's IP settings to DHCP. If you don't have a router and are using just a crossover cable, then you would need to set both your PC and Xbox to use a crossover. I've got a tutorial up somewhere that explains in detail as to how to do this. It's called "Configuring your PC to use a crossover cable". | ||||||
