Can u mod older maps?

like the maps lockout and couagulation and stuff like that? i modded the new maps (turf etc) do u still ftp the maps to pc and mod em or are they on the halo 2 cd?

You need to Softmod your Xbox and Copy Halo 2 to Your Xbox Hard Drive then just FTP to the Maps, where halo 2 is stored on your HD!

i have the unleashX dash and it says failed to copy the game, and when it says a newer unleashx verison is out and when i try to download it it says failed, also when i load halo 2 w/ unleashx i cant get on the XBL, but i can download new skins

dude modding old maps is alot diff than modding new

things diff
1. u have to flash ur drive
2. u need an iso which i have
3. u need old map mods
4. u need to no how to do it

A.Ya you should get the newer version, so download it online, put the saves on your AR, and re-mod your box.
B. In order for it to let your try and sign in with a modded dash, you havew to cold boot. Meaning, put the disk in, turn off the xbox, and then turn it back on. If it loads the dashboard, you didnt cold boot.

and if u r gonna mod old maps u need evox so put ur ms board back on then install evox or get the temp files i no we have them here

so if i install evox it will let me on XBL? and do i save halo 2 to the hdd then mod the maps like new maps and then ill still be able to get on xbl with the modded maps?

u pretty much cant get on live w/modded old maps. to get on live, u need the disc. yes, there is a way but few ppl actually know ways that work.

There is a right way and a wrong way and it just depends on if you want to get on live with the mods.

ya of course there is a way to mod old maps...there are books at ur local book store that tell you how...i have one that is how i learned...i jus never mod online cuz if i did my only account would be banned and i would miss out on the best multiplayer experence out there....but yes bud there is a way and if u wish to no look round here or u can buy a book bout it! (ur choice)

yes u can still get on live with old maps modded u just have to know how to do it and if u wait whitee said hed post a tut on it but be4 u do anything make sure u have mods for the old maps first
