help gettin rid of soft mods

ok problem -
i go to sign onto xbox live after i have gotten rid of my modded maps for halo 2 and stuff and my modded dash boards and what not but when i go to sign on it says start troubleshooter so i do as it says and everything checks out fine until the end and an error stating i have a modified xbox what do i do?

so you wanna get rid of them or u wanna get on live? cause u can get on live with softmods, and u wont get banned. also if u try to go on live through the ms dashboard, it wont let u. but if u wanna remove them, just pop in the game u used to mod it, and just uninstall softmod, or turn of softmod
