XBMC is undoubtedly the greatest app made for the Xbox. It stands for Xbox Media Centre, and as well as being able to load programs, games etc. it can play pretty much any media file from pretty much every source (be that HDD, disk, USB, Network or the Internet).
Seriously, you don't need anything else I >3 my XBMC; and I'm currently upgrading my 120gb HDD to a 500gb so I can fit even more Movies and TV seasons on there

Dude, XBMC is the best by far once you learn to use it. If you're just going to mod Halo 2 or some ****, don't bother trying. XBMC is like a 360 with the MC360 skin, and you can stream movies off of your computer's hard drive and watch them on your TV. You can do so much with it...

EvoX is ****. XBMC is good but can be confusing to some people. Biggest thing I dont like about it is the fact that you have to search for your apps. Its FTP doesnt like me either so I only use XBMC as a dash.

If you have the MC360 skin, it simplifies things a lot. It organizes it just like the 360 sliders, and the SMB Network share is incredible.
