Xbox Case Modding

Okay So I have a theory:
I'm think about taking a xbox, striping its hard ware out and placing it in a conventional computer case

the only difference, i would use the computers power supply

THE ONLY THING STOPPING ME:
is that i have no idea what the power difference between the xboxs power to the main board
and the computers power supply to the main board is

it could me less then, more then, or equal to one another

i don't trust myself

and i'm asking for peoples input

i will post pictures of whats going on soon

You wouldn't have room for the hardware? I mean you might be able to but upgrading is going to be a **** and the power supply I dont think is comes with the stuff you need to power a MB thats not the xbox one. But hey dont trust me im wrong...alot

i want to be able to roll up to a xbox lan party, and plug a "comp in" and have everyone be like "WTF??? tis not an xbox, tis teh computer" and then i plug xbox controllers into it and BAM lol,

as for the power supply
the comp power supply main board plug is the same pin set as the xbox power supply

Oh LMFAO, then Ya's thats easy controllers are going to be hard though, you could have the Mobo close to the front and cut holes in the drives, and i don't know how you could set the DVD up with the cont ports on the front....

i got that figured out lol
controllers will hook up where the usb and firewire is supposed to be lol

its hard to explain

and we were getting prepared for it to blow up... bummer
lol well you can't use the comp power supply with the xbox but i'm working on the case mod still, i'll let ya'll know when its done

He said Xbox not a 360 additioned to the word I dont think. There isnt really away to tell how much the 360 is getting towards power wize. The xbox has a essembly called X_MS_MediaReceiverRegistrar (xmlns) which is really only looking for five autherization codes. which the most common is 1. There is five words also which is only used as the container autherizations. So you will not be banned online if you did this with the xbox 360.

I am not at cause of any loss of warrenty as the post is live or locked.

A: buy a new one
or
B: steal my friends computer and try it using his
