Any Way to Format HD?

Well.. I'm big into the montage making of Halo.
Xelo Trainer Mods aren't only used for taking pictures of mods,
but also as a 3D camera viewer you would see in Halo 3.

Here's a good example -- from my good friend Tweak's montage.

The intro was all used Trainer Mods.

I modded my xbox not too long ago,

I used Splinter Cell if that helps at all.

I've un-modded and re-modded my xbox twice since then,
and I'm stuck.
Whenever I load a map in Xored Trainer and try to play,
the second the countdown hits 0, it freezes.
It also refuses to allow me on Live anymore.

Any way I can just start over?
Possible link to the original dash / system files?

No need to reformat. It freezes because the map is messed up. It isnt the trainer or it wouldnt let you play the mainmenu.map. The reason it wont let you on live anymore is because the linux stops you from getting your eeprom banned. To play live you have to turn the softmod off, wich you can do with Krazie's linux or uninstall the whole softmod. If you want to turn it off place Splinter Cell in the disk tray and reboot. When the game loads select your linux file then checkpionts (or some **** like that) you should see an Unleashed X dashboard. It will give you a list of options, select Turn Softmod On/Off. Reboot the xbox without a game and it will go to MS Dash. From there you can put in H2 and play xbl. If you want to turn the softmod back on do the same as you did to turn it off. You cant sign on xbl with an installed and On linux without being perma Microsoft banned. Your "good friend" Tweak was playing local or XBC when he made the begining. No trainer lets you save a game that you played and go back through with different camera views to watch like Halo 3. If you want a linux keep the one you have, it was the third linux i used and after trying others like SID I quickly found it to be the best.

Edit: I reread what you typed and you probably arent running the game from the HDD from the way you speak so the reason it isnt loading maps is probably because you have to disable or remove the updates to use the trainer that you are trying to use. If you remove the update it wont let you play Halo 2 live untill you download the updates again.

I've tried replacing the maps multiple times.
I've taken clean maps from different sites.

I'm not attempting to get on live WITH the trainers on.
I know you can't.

I'm trying to get the trainers working,
and / or get on live.

It'd be easier for me to just start over.

Their is no real way to format the harddrive that i know of unless you uless you break it all down and build it back up using a clean C and E or rebuild it from scratch. Your problems are probably easier to fix instead of wiping the HDD. Try using your H2 disk instead of loading from HDD and make sure your updates are removed. If your wanting to get on xbl just turn the softmod off.
