Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Award(s): 0  |  SWAP DVD DRIVE? All, I recently purchased an xbox (not 360, the older black type) to give as a gift to my girlfriends little brother. However, I have come to realize that the DVD drive needs replaced. I ordered a Samsung/Toshiba SDG-605 to replace the old drive. Is this an easy swap? Do I need to "flash" the new drive? I've tried to find a tutorial for this to no avail. Please help!   | ||||||

All there is is an IDE cable that you need to plug in and your done. No Flashing involved. Last edited by capo; 01-25-2008 at 01:01 PM. | ||||||
