I NEED SOME HELP WITH BRIDGING

hello everyone i wanted to know if someone can help me here is my situation my main computer router and all that stuff is in another room and i have a laptop in my room with windows vista and my xbox here to i wanted to know if i can bridge somehow through my laptop i also have a long eternet cable i dont know if that matters so if someone can help me to let me know what i need to do that would be awsome.

this used to work on xbox so should work on 360
your laptop connect wireless right?
so what you want to do is use a corssover cable from your 360 and connect it to your laptop
now what you want to do is go to network connects
so go to network and sharing and on the right should bec manage network connects
which you should see your wireless connect and your 360 "turn on your 360 or it won't show up but it not needed too"
under your wireless connection right click on and go to properties
under properties go to the last tap which should be sharing and check allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection
on now just click OK out of the menus and reboot your pc
now try to connect to xbox live if you can then your done just use your bridging programs ZA and whatever you want for finding IP's

now if it doesn't which i haven't tested this but go back to sharing tap under your wireless connection and click on setting and check IMAP4 or just to be should check all of then doesn't really matter

if you can't find the stuff or it not working PM me and i'll give you info for my vent and i can try to help you
P.S. any Ethernet cable should work

hey whats up well i tried doing everything you told me to but it wont let me bridge my wireless with my laptop and i still cant get on xbox live so can we talk true yahoo messenger or aim or phone or something i have been trying this for days now thankyou

Well I wouldent make it that confusing the more steps the less chance of getting it right.


1.) Just forget about your main comp.
2.) Download your bridging programs on your laptop.
3.) cross cable and o la la
