How to make a modchip

Does anyone know how to make your own modchip? I know where to get the "motherboard" but im not really sure how to go about the rest.

The time and energy spent making a modchip would end up costing WAY more than a chip.

this is one of those things where if you need to ask how to do it your not capable of doing it
people go to college for many years learning to do this.

You would have to make a chip that supports .xbe and fatx, xbox bioses, and that would install and work on the mobo. Good luck...

I second that.

But the problem is, if your asking, obviously you've never done it before. If you had then it'd be cheaper because you wouldn't need 5 of everything for when you break it.

I know it would be cheaper to buy one, but i don't want to buy one, i want to MAKE one. If SOMEONE could at least direct me to the right place where i could LEARN how to make one, i would greatly appreciate it. I've checked google, and the only thing that comes up is "How to Install Modchips" and "Great Prices on Mod Chips"etc.

Listen, I know the all there is to know about the xbox. I really dont know too much about computers but i can guarentee there are no xbox friendly chips that are out on the market besides modchips. I also doubt there are blank chips that you can program like a mobo or modchip. I dont think you will get very much help on the matter.

ok. in that case can anyone please give me a list of the components used in the making of a mod chip? a processor, board, etc?

Ya, but im not like people. I don't need to spend years of learning something, to learn it. I can take a close look at something, and figure out how it works just by looking at it. But before i go spending 60 bucks on a modchip, i would like to get as much information as i can, without spending money.
