Emulator Downloads

I know that a lot of people look around for these and people tell them to check out xbins or #xbins and people have no idea what they are talking about and even how to use a mirc program and even channel. So here are the most common downloads. I'll be missing some, but most of the good ones are here.

MAMEoX (v84b3) - This will play most of the <span style="color:orange">Arcade</span> games that you will find.

Z26 (v4) - Plays <span style="color:orange">Atari 2600 VCS</span> games.

AtariXLBox (v5) - Plays <span style="color:orange">Atari 800</span>, <span style="color:orange">Atari XL</span>, and <span style="color:orange">Atari 5200</span> games.

LynxBox (v1) - Plays <span style="color:orange">Atari Lynx</span> games.

WinSTonX (v5) - Plays <span style="color:orange">Atari ST</span> games.

XboyAdvance (v10) - Plays <span style="color:orange">Game Boy</span>, <span style="color:orange">Game Boy Color</span>, and <span style="color:orange">Game Boy Advance</span>.

FCE-Ultra (v16) - Plays <span style="color:orange">Nintendo Entertainment System </span>(<span style="color:red">NES</span>) games.

Hugo (v10) - Plays <span style="color:orange">Turbo Grafx</span> games (Well, everyone that played this system is prolly only looking for one game: BONK).

SMSPlusX (v9) - This is for those who did hop on the Nintendo Game Boy bandwagon: It's for the <span style="color:orange">Sega GameGear</span>.

NeoGenesis (v16) - Plays <span style="color:orange">Sega Genesis</span>, <span style="color:orange">Sega CD</span>, and <span style="color:orange">Sega 32x</span> games.

PCSXBOX (v11) - Everyone, I'm sure, has looked around for this one. This plays the <span style="color:orange">Playstation 1</span> games. I have not used this one yet, so I won't be able to answer questions about it.

SNES9X X (v0.23) - Plays <span style="color:orange">Super NES</span> games.

Surreal64 XXX beta 4 - Everyone's favorite: Plays <span style="color:orange">Nintendo 64</span> games. This one is a bit tricky. You have to change the Surreal.ini file before you FTP this to your Xbox. I have my roms in E:\Roms\(system, in this case: N64). So when you go into the .ini file, you have to change the rom path (only the rom path) to your rom directory. So, for an example, mine looks like this:
<span style="color:green">Rom Path</span>: <span style="color:red">E:\Roms\N64</span>
Save it and then you can FTP it to your Xbox.

Now that is most of the ones that everyone is looking for. If you would like to see an emulator on this list that isn't currently on it, post it and I'll see what I can do about it. But I'm not promising I will get a direct download.

For roms, visit Rom-Hustler. All their roms are .7z format. To unpack those, you need to get 7-zip. 7-zip v4.23

Azzid, if you get time, you need to see if you can add in a link for Xbox and PS2. I know there are some because i used to hae them...I just dont know where to get them anymore; plus roms for them too.


BTW B0, you said can someone help you with Emulators...what do you need ?

I doubt there is a PS2 emulator for the Xbox... It would run beyond slow, and have frame rates...

when i try to load a rom it says it loads and then it just goes to a black screen and it never comes up
