pcsxbox when i go to change disk off my harddrive it says could not read toc on cd i know the file works it loads fine when i go to play it by itself ive also tried making a save state right when it says insert disk 2 but it just freezes when i go to load it on the 2nd disk i have no idea how to change disk but im guessin you push the Rthumb stick and then go to load new disk image but that never works just says what i said earlier

Im new to the FTP and i was wondering how and where i ftp emulators and roms to on my xbox im a bit hesitant to try nething because i have seen people who cant remove nething from there xbox so i figured id ask b4 i did it? NE Help?????

You should put it on your E drive. Most people do this:
e:\apps\emulators

if the folder isn't there, make it.

Pretty much. If its anything the xbox can run, put it in the apps folder so your dashboard can recognize it.

Hey Azzid, quick clarification if you would please. Do emulators and ROMS only get transferred to the XBOX via FTP? Does the AID disc (which I am d/-ing right now) have a emulator pack on it to install? Is that pack in the ADD-ONS" folder? Are there ROM's there as well, or am I gonna have to FTP those over after the emulators are installed? I guess I mostly want to know is that will I be using FTP alot (especially to transfer ROMS/ISOS later)? It seems like there is no other way to access the E drive on the XBOX other than FTP, huh? Thanks for your time!

Also....some of the emulator zip files have alot of folders...is there a certain configuration to put those folders into E:/APPS/EMULATORS or whatever, or do those files stay zipped the way they are downloaded? Sorry for all the questions!!!

yes, you have to FTP the roms and the emulator. Don't sweat it though, it's quick and the files aren't large.

put the emulator program into E:/Emulators (not apps, emulators). Then configure the emulator's .ini file so that it corresponds to your ROM folder

Thanks! I did load the AID V3.10 onto the XBOX via DVD disc, and through the ADD ONS pack I was able to drop the emulators onto the HD, and since they already have the ROMS folder set-up that makes it so much easier to drop the ROM files in via FTP! Very awesome!

So, I finally got the Surreal64 emu working after alot of experimentation. My screen kept going black after I tried loading a ROM and thought it was an emu problem, but mostly it was the ROM that had an issue. I tried 6 diff. ROMS until I finally got it to work (OO7 GoldenEye). And since I loaded Surreal64 from the AID disc, it already came with the Roms folder set-up, so I FTP-ed it from the XBOX HD onto my PC, redirected the paths. and FTP-ed it back onto the HD. I also had to redirect the "surreal.ini" path like this:

ROM PATH E:\Emulators\Surreal64\Roms
MEDIA PATH E:\Emulators\Surreal64\Media

Thta's how I had to do it for it to finally work. Is there a list out there that shows which ROMS work for this emu thus far? Also, does anyone know if there is an emulator for NeoGeo CD? I can't get the regular NeoGeo games to work on the FBA XXX PRO emu, and the MAMEDX emu says my ROMS are incomplete...any input? Thanks in advance!!!

I was also able to get the emu NeoCD-SDLx Unleased for xbox. I already have the 512k NEOCD.BIN file from my previous NeoGeoCD emu for PSP. Anyone have any ideas on how to apply this to the E:\ thru FTP? Do I extract the contents into a folder and FTP that into E:\Emulators\ ? I've already placed the NEOCD.BIN file into the "bios" folder, and created an "iso" folder as well. The info.txt says that the iso path is D:\ISOS\ which I don't think will work for me if I'm in the E:\ partition. Not too sure where I can redirect the iso path on this emu....Any info is greatly appreciated!

Also, I can't get the regular NeoGeo games (Metal Slug) to work on the FBA XXX PRO emu, and the MAMEDOX emu says my ROMS are incomplete...any input? Thanks in advance!!!

Hey Azzid....I'm having trouble getting the NeoGeo CD emulator running....any advice? I've got the emulator running what I appear to believe is correctly, and the neocd.bin file is where it needs to be. The ROMS that I have used successfully in the past on the emulator for the PSP are not being recognized or loading. Maybe its the format of the ROM itself? In order for the ROM to play on the PSP emulator it has to be in a folder titled for the game, and thatfolder has the game file and a subfolder titled "neocd.mp3" that has all the .mp3 files for that specific game. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Look for the .ini file so you can edit the path that the emulator looks for the roms in.

theres like a milllion ini. files im using aid 3.0 i found my roms and so i put them in my roms folder so how do i change the file path pleese

If you used AID at all, then all you would have had to do is put the roms in the "roms" folder.
