New Dash?!?

I recently decided to get back into making Halo 2 mods after a few years of not even turning on the dusty old xbox, so i was wondering if there is anything new out there that i might have missed. I am running an old version of Evo X(cant remember which one exactly) and was wondering if there is a newer version or a better dash to use. Or any cool mods or anything i missed, i did get to play one of the AI mods a long time ago, but quit modding directly after, i think it was the zombies in the mist mod. But if there are any new programs or ANYTHING that i should know about please let me know.

BTW is prometheus out yet, its been forever.

It was supposed to be the best ever halo 2 modding program ever, but it has been in the works for years and i fear it has probably been given up on.

I'm sure you heard of the Unleash X dashboard. That's what I prefer to use myself so if you haven't check it out you might want to.

As far as new programs, there's Entity which is basically a more advanced alternative to Dothalo. It works fairly well if you have a basic understanding of modding.

xbox media center is the best dash by far unleax/evo/avalauncher have nothing compared to it

so much info and apps already installd in it that you can sit infron of the xbox for days without even playing a game and still keep entertained
streaming vids,music,pics axcess all movies and pic off your pc allkinds of neat stuff

and it looks nice no ugly skins like unleash or evo and it just came out with a new sking that is amasign and in hd to

Anyway, Prometheus is going slow but still going in some fashion. It's taking a good long while for the "same old reason" of us just not really having the free time for it these days, making it hard for us to all come together and get as much done as we would like to.

We do definitely want to get it out there for people to use, but we're just trying to decide the best way to do that right now. There are a few options and none of them are easy to settle on. Honestly, I haven't looked at the HaloDev forums in a long time and I'm scared to even log in when I get some free time.

It's good to see Halo 3 modding is going at its own pace, it all looked pretty hopeless last summer.

You know the only one dash i enjoyed using on my modded xbox was the Slayer Evox installer disk because it installed avalaunch Evox and others all together versus just installing one.

I use XBMC dual boot with MS dash + UnleashX as an app for backup purposes.

i just use the old dashboard
if its not broken dont fix it
and for halo 2 modding programs i prefer
UMPv5 and BMP they are AIO's and they have everything you will ever need to mod halo 2 again
