Its really just a fake partition that is loaded everytime XMBC's .xbe is ran. Its all in the coding. So I would download it from the T3CH site, since they are the only ones coming out with working new versions. As for recovering your GT. You can if you cold boot to your M$ Dash, then recover. But you cannot connect to XBL if you use the modified NKPatcher to run unsigned code ( Like a dashboard). So you can cold boot; or unsoftmod, recover your new GT, then resoftmod. Secondly, its not that hard, there is no more indepth tutorial. Your post is stupid, I am deleting it. And I am uploading a clean version of XBMC right now for the OP.
