Only Hitachi's with 1.51 will load wave 4 games.

"IF" he had 1.51 it would just play the burned game without a need for activate iso. Since it wasnt til 1.6 came along that they put in the one shot boot mode disc. So guessing he has 1.6. Since im in the same boat as him.

Only hitachi will boot wave 4 with 1.51.

Buy a VIA6421 card and a sata cable

Updating is simple no matter what type of drive you have. Except for hitachi's.

I'm having the same "Disk Unreadable" error when trying to boot MW2 after using the activate.iso.

I've burnt both disks twice already, still no luck. I really doubt this is a bad burn. I'm using the same Verbatim disks I always do.

i definitely did the layer break version of the boot disc and it worked for me on my benq. haven't tried it on my lite-on yet

One little question, when you say that there is a ban risk involved, do you mean that they can detect it somehow? Or is the extra risk just because iX won't stop me from booting up a not properly stealthed game?

Ixtreme won't stop you from booting a unstealthed game.

When you use the one shot boot disc, the console will boot unstealthed games. Which will get you banned.

So as long as you dont play unstealthed games, you wont get banned.

Anyone able to get this to work on a jasper model with lite-on drive? Not the newest models that everyone is having problems with, but jasper arcade model. Ive tried everything with no luck. If so let me know what media your using. Tried on verbatim and phillips DL.

I am having this same problem...

I have burnt Dragon Age : Origins twice and Lips number one hits, and every single one of them comes up as disc unreadable using active.iso beforehand.

Without Activate.iso it is detected as a DVD, I put in activate disc, then put in Dragon Age and it says Play Game, but no image or title, then unreadable -.-. I am going mad with this and wasting too many discs.

Yet Wave 3 burns are working fine, not one bad burn, all working, so I highley doubt I would just get bad burns when its wave 4....

Anyone know whats going on?

I usually don't burn my games at home, but at a friends place, and he's got a fancy cd reader to burn them in. Will that be required to burn the activate.iso file?

Fancy CD reader? lol
No, as long as you know it'll burn other backups, you shouldn't have a problem burning the .iso.

thanks man im doing this now (just waiting for it to finalize) hopefully it should work! why do you use 2.4x wouldnt it be better to use the slowest speed possible?
