[How-to] Get your Achievements back after Reset.

Haven't got it to work either. I've tried a couple times now.

I am able to add and delete the Dashboard, but I've waited and waited and my motto/location/bio etc is still showing on xbox.com, although the gamerscore says 0gs.

I recover and it all comes back, and achievements still unattainable.

What am I missing? I think this might be BS.

first it wont work,
second it cant read any games now it only plays xbox 360 dashboard so you have to delete it anyway

i modded one halo achievement and it got taken off me. my gamerscore didn't get reset, just ONE achievement was lost

well when i did it i didnt even delete the dashboard on xbox.com. i just didnt bother with it. i just deleted it on the profile and then i recovered my account and i guess i did it right. my cheater zone on xbox and xbox.com got removed and i was able to earn all my achievements back since they were all locked before.

So if I have understood you correctly, this worked for you right?

I got it to remove the "Cheater" status from xbox.com and the gamer zone, but I am still unable to get the achievements back... they are all still locked.

correct. it did work for me but i expected to get all my achievements back but i expected too much. but im satisfied with earning them back and getting the cheater taken off.

Hi all, just joining this thread now and want to tell you where I am at so you can tell me exactly what I need to do next (the way which works! )

I can see the Dash in my achievements but cannot delete it yet. once I delete it I noticed VX0 said he played a game and earnt an achievement then recovered his GT after doing this, is this correct

Other two methods i've read on here are to delete when I can, then wait for xbox.com to update before recovering GT.
Other method mentioned is to just delete Dashboard when I can, then recover GT before it updates on xbox.com

Which is the correct method?

well within a few mintues of adding the dashboard to my list i inserted a game ive never played before then i saw the dashboard on my list then i deleted it and then i earned an achievement on the game i never played before then i deleted my account and recovered it and kept signing in and out until i saw it was taken off. never did i ever delete the dash off xbox.com. i have proof that i was on the cheater zone and have a pic of it and now its taken off and i have a higher gamerscore than the pic before. so basically before and after.

well idk. i thought i saw a few on here. but idk. whats funny is that i got my method off of youtube and not here. but idk which video it was.

Was the game you used to hex the dashboard into your recently played the same game you earned an achievement in after deleting the dashboard, or was it a different game?

I would like to try this strategy, but I only have one game that was not on my list before I got reset, so if I **** up and get an achievement on that game I wont be able to delete the dashboard in another attempt.

Right it works for me also, bit of a leap of faith but here is what I did.

Followed up to and including step 2, then on step 3 i couldn't see my xbox dash so I played a game I already had in my collection - PGR which was at the time the 2nd most recent game I had played after the game I used for the dashboard hack, after loading this and playing 1 quick game I could see the dash as my 2nd most recent game I had played and PGR4 had become the 1st.

I then waited 2 days, but I still couldn't delete dash so I put in COD4 (the game that was 3rd on my most recent game playlist), once at the main menu I was able to delete the game history for my xbox dashboard.

This reset me to 0G and removed all games from my recent playlist.

I have since waited 2 hours and XBL now shows me with 0G and no played games! I have just re-downloaded my GT and hey presto it's clean, i'm out of the cheater zone, have 0G and can start fresh.

Hope this helps others stuck, if you follow my process it should hopefully work!

no it has to be a game that u havent played yet. for me it was kung fu panda. lol.

The "Dashboard" on my recently played games seems to be stuck on there now. When I delete it, it just comes right back next time I sign in, and recovering my account has the same effect.


I can only delete the "Dashboard" when I am in a game, I can not delete it from the dashboard itself, is this right? When I delete it from in a game, it says 0gs, but when I go back to the dashboard I get my score back, and after a sign out all my games and achievements show back up in the Achievements blade.

Suggestions?

Hey guys, I'll save you time, it DOES remove cheater (why wouldn't you want that?) lol but once you earn a cheevo you'll get the same GS as before you tried, so don't bother, mate spoke to deathshape, he was having a joke
