1 Person buys Netflix, 6 People use it NO Extra Charge!

Okay, some of you may already know how to do this but I will tell how to anyways, for those who don't.

Requirements:
Xbox360/Live
Netflix (Streaming plan, which is all of them except one)

In this tutorial I will be describing it as if YOU are the one with Netflix and you want to give it to a friend also.

NOTE: Depending on which DVDPlan you have will determin how many people will be able to view Netflix at the same time. Example: If you have the 1DVDPlan then you can have 6 people on your list but only 3 will be able to watch netflix at the same time if you're watching something DIFFERENT, if you're all watching the same thing (in a party) you can have all 6 I believe.

1) Tell him/her to go to the Xbox360 Dashboard

2) Have him/her click Netflix (Video Marketplace, over one I believe.)

3) Download it if he/she hasn't already.

4) Select "Yes I Am A member Of Netflix"

5) He/she will get an Activation Code, tell him/her to give it to you. (Tell him/her to STAY on that screen!)

6) YOU go to Netflix.com and sign in, then click "Your Account" in the top right.

You will see this screen, click on "Your Netflix ready devices and computers "



7) Then click on "Activate Device", Enter the code your friend gave you (Make sure he/she is still on the page where the code is!!) click activate and he/she will be redirected to Netflix, DONE!




You can do this with up to 6 people (yourself included, unless of course you remove your own 360 for some reason) with no extra charge!

only problem is that netflick limits the amount of systems that can watch. like say u got the 1 dvd plan, 2 system can watch netflicks at the same time.

so while yes you can have up to 6 systems connected they cant all watch at the same time.

i have the 1 dvd plan and we tried it with 2 friends. only 2 of us could watch at any 1 time. then it tells the 3rd person that the plan does not allow it and says we can upgrade it. sooooooooo yea =]

I know. But it's not worth it considering the Netflix account is from another person. So all 3 of us wouldn't be able to use it at once.

yea dont get me wrong it works fine. but depending on what tier your account is affects how many people can stream at 1 time.

i have the 1 dvd at out a time plan, and it lets 2 systems stream. sooo me and my friend usually watch netflikz together.

it still works fine, since you can pick movies from the xbox directly they really dont mind. they can still watch all the movies and go into parties and do anything that the real member can. only thing is they cant go to netflicks.com and rent dvds other then that all the new movies show up on the 360.

Just tested literally less than 2 mins ago, and my friend has the 1 DVD plan and he had, himself & 2 friends watching Netflix no problems at all, seems like what it happens to be is that you can't all three be watching different movies but you can be in the same party with no problems. I have the 3 DVD at a time plan and I have had a few friends with with no problems.

Tested & Confirmed.

You had to of done something wrong some how, either that or your friend doesn't have the streaming plan.

well other friends have Netflix to and it still does that and i also deleted the netflix download and even the dash update

We should make a list or something of that sort of people who have Netflix and are willing to help others, that way it will be easier for people to get Netflix if somebody is willing to share.
