No, the new version of Modio (2.0) deletes the contents of your hosts file. If you stick with 1.341 you won't have any problem

Thanks for this, Jester. Only problem is, I've been trying to get this to work for months, but to no avail. I modify my hosts file correctly, but when I open Modio, it asks me to update. And I'm assuming the file is patched correctly. And no, I'm not using a newer version of Modio, nor are there any newer versions of Modio on my PC. I am using the version included in the .zip file.

So what exactly am I doing wrong?

You can still use the bundled Modio version 1.341. 2.0 cannot be used with this crack however.

XP is fine.

hey Jester i was wondering if there is any way to remove the modio crack because i noticed it doesn't let you update with the crack. i would like to regain access to game-tuts and download the original version of modio.. if possible.
