Things you will need:
you will need this video only until, powering off your computer and xbox after samread finishes.
http://video.google.com/googleplayer...73556&hl=enYou will need a Flash Drive or Floppy disk. to make the Xtreme files bootable on your prefered disc.>>Download Here

-"Xtreme Firmware" 'open' (select "xtreme.bin")
-Check: Use custom MTKFlash
-in dropdown box select your sata chipset
-"click" 'Detect ID - I/O'
-"Check" 'Apply Boke's Patch for MS28 Drives'
-"Select your target drive"
-"Check" 'Format and Make Bootable'
-"Click" 'Prepare Drive'
Once done formating, go into the drive and right click "samread" \edit, skip down to "mtkflash r /m backup......." add /sata after /m
"mtkflash r /m /sata backup......." Save*******
then open samhack and do the exact same thing.
then restart comp and boot the bios....>>>

*refrence to video*
change bios to boot from xtreme device.

then hook up dvd drive to sata cable in pc, from there in dos, turn on xbox, wait 20 seconds then type:
"samread" then your serial number. so ex: "samread 1234567 12345"
and when it gives you the
1. "ide....."
2. "Your sata chipset, connected to xbox dvd drive"

********Turn off xbox*********

select "2" (your sata chipset)

**********Turn ON xbox**********
it should say "Reading" or "Updating"

Once it says power off PC, follow these steps... "pull sata from dvd drive, power off pc, then turn off xbox"

then this time boot to your computer HDD, "windows"
go into the device you used with dvd drive. Ex: Floppy A:\backup\1234567\12345\
once there copy the ORIG.bin then paste it in the same directory and rename it 'hacked.bin'.

Boot back to dos, put the replacement dvd drive into xbox 360, then turn on xbox360

type "samhack 1234567 12345"

then it will show you your chipset again,

************TURN OFF XBOX****************

select the chipset you chose "Via"

*************TURN ON XBOX******************

it is now flashing the new drive with your original dvd drive firmware

and your done,

I hope my tutorial wasn't too convoluted and confusing. Cause it was for me to follow this method myself lol

*Credit goes to Me and My dad for finding out this method on our own*
We did not follow anyone's tutorial for the swapping part of this tut
(NO ONE HAD A TUT FOR Toshiba Samsung drives )
