(mixing up the settings) so i do a manual ip set up with my ip on my xbox set to always be like, the tenth ip address my router would give, so that it will never be taken. i just wish that every router would start using the same terminology for their stuff. my router is so much simpler and worded a lot different then my friends router. good job on the tut.

I would recommend just putting a link: (i.e: Port Forward -> Router -> Application -> Completed. *However, I would recommend that those who wish to ascertain a truly Open NAT should pursue the DMZ (Dematerialised Zone - "Belkin and others" oh the translations are awful) which allows the user to issue one or more devices to be outside of the initial firewall, hence defeating the purpose of Portforwarding.
