FTPing with 360
ok i know how to ftp a xbox 1 and mod and skin and stuff now i need something. My brother wants me to help him make a halo montage and he needs me to get the files off the HD. There saved on our HD and i need to get them off. Is there a tut on how to do this, All help would be much appriciated.

you can't ftp you can only use xsata or xport

You can't ftp to the 360 because of the way it is. There is no exploit at all for it. Also its an external HDD

You need XSATA or XPORT. I have both i like the ease of XPORT because you can just take you HDD off and place it on the bay and connect to it. Unlike XSATA where you have a cord running from the back of the hdd connector to ur pc and its not that long.

Yes, you cant FTP to your 360. Maybe one day when people either make a custom kernel or get microsofts keypairs so they can make apps like that to allow you. Or if someone finds an exploit like on xbox1. But until then, you are on your own.

Ok, xplorer 360 can let you view all of the files on your 360's HDD as long as it is connected properly, (Xsata, Xport, opening and sata'ing the HDD, memory card transfer kit)

Xsata and Xplorer have nothing to do with making a montage.

With those you cant extract films since they are not anything like .avi.

To make a montage you will need to buy a capture card or have somebody record.
