How to Open an Xbox360 with a PaperClip

this is a tutorial on how to open an Xbox360 With a paperclip, no need to buy an opening tool.




Tools:
paper clip.
flathead screwdrivier.



1. Take off hard drive/ and face plate.
Click the image to open in full size.

2. unfold the paper clip, put the paper clip inside and push the tab untill its released, [do so for all tabs]

3. when you get one side up, place a screw driver or something in there, so that the tabs to re hook. [ repeat this step on the bottom also.]

4. We are moving to the back of the xbox, where the cords hook in, find the tabs, insert the paper clip untill tabs release.

5. insert the paper clip and release the Rest of the tabs on the back.

6. once all tabs on the back are released then, slowly lift the top cover [IT WILL NOT COMPLETELY COME OFF]

7. before the cover will completely come off, you have to unhook the tabs on the front of the xbox [Where the power button is] then lift the cover completely off.

8. And WALAH!! you now have an open xbox360 for modding/Repair.

I had to open up my xbox to clean it out so it would stop overheating and I used a paper clip a while ago, among other tools I tried to use and failed.

And then you need a Torx to get it open the rest of the way :p. You wish you could open the whole thing with only a paper clip .

yeah, lol! i decided i had to find out!!!
And after like an hour of ****ing with my xbox and a god damn paper clip, It worked.. and progresivly i got faster at it
