my 360 keeps frezzing

k so today i got my new desk in the mail while i was playing gta4, so i left my 360 on for about 3 hours (foolish thing of me to do) while i built my desk. when i came back it was fine, so i kept playing and it froze on me. then i restarted my 360 and that froze on me too.

so now when my 360 is off my wireless adapter has a red light to it, when i dont keep it in when my 360 turns on my 360 doesnt freeze, but when i start playing after i log into live it freezes! i dont have have any RRoD at all. please help.

Well, at least you're not getting 2 RRoD like me when I did the x-clamp fix and penny trick.

But Parker, I think thats a hint, its slowly on its way to a 3 RRoD.
Try the x-clamp fix.

Yeah it could be the game there's an issue apparently with GTA freezing up and acting weird

GTA4 froze on me last night when I was playing it. I restarted and it was fine though.

i dont think its gta 4. i unplugged everything including the hdd, so today whe ni get home ill plug everything in and try galo 3 =)

does it mean anything if my wireless adapter has a still red light?!?

and im thinking i should clear cache too.

edit: omg it keeps freezing!!!! i played halo 3 and i went into team slayer with a friend and froze. now it keeps freezing on startup!!!

Defiantly an early sign of the dreaded RRoD. If you have warrenty, then just wait until it does get the RRoD and then send it in, or you can replace the X-Clamps if you really want to try that.

my friends xbox would do that and he kept insisting it was fine and a week later it went on him

Send it in now so you dont waist a week of your life with a crappy one
make sure when you get the paper to check every single box not just the ones with your issues that way you get a new one instead of just your fixed one

ok so i tried playing gta4 without my wireless adapter. and it worked and didnt freeze. so i have the usb adapter in the front and im on live and ill see how that goes. anyway on how to fix it so it works in the back?

thats what im doing, i just ordered the box last night...

edit: dylan i still have warrenty, but only for a year... but i thought warrenties get extended to 3 years..
